On the day before the meeting of the European Committee on Food Chain and Animals Health that is going to vote in relation to temporary ban of neonicotinoids in the UE, Polish Association of Beekeepers has supported the Polish government in its actions to introduce a moratorium in this matter. The Association has sent another letter of appeal to the Ministry of Agriculture.

On the 28th of April 2013, public television TVP1 will air a material concerning the problem of extensive chemicalization of agriculture that seems to be one of the causes of rapidly decreasing bees population.
