The results of the contest were announced on 5th of March 2011 during the ceremonial gala in Malopolskie Centrum Kultury "Sokol".

The plebiscite was published by the monthly and the Internet portal "Sadeczanin". As many as 8 515 people took part in the poll by filling in coupons and voting on-line.

These are the people nominated by the Committee of the Plebiscite and put up by a number of communities and associations: father Fabian Blaszkiewicz SJ, Janusz Dominik, Janusz Kasztelewicz, Jozef Nowogorski, Wieslaw Lesniak, rev. Wladyslaw Piatek, rev. Tadeusz Sajdak, Jan Stawiarski, Adam Tokarczyk, Celestyn Zeliszewski, Maria Zuchowicz.

The artistic part of the gala was honoured by the representative orchestra of Karpacki Oddzial Strazy Granicznej conducted by col. Stanislaw Straczek.
