This year prize-winner is Dr Barbara Tondos, an art historian and a prominent researcher of wooden architecture. She was given the statuette and a 15-thousand-zloty check.

There were also given distinctions to: Father Wieslaw Bodzioch - the parson of the Libusza parish. the Orthodox parish in Gladyszow and to Janusz Kasztelewicz, the founder of Outdoor Beekeeping Museum in Stroze.

This annual award is granted for the overall public work and introduction of social projects in the region of Malopolska. The public work includes, among others, protection and maintenance of wooden architecture structures, adaptation of these structures for tourist and cultural objectives and renovation combined with promotion of these structures
