Conference programme: 10 am   Prof. Jan Miodek - Honey in the history of Polish language.             Katarzyna Jagiello (Greenpeace Polska) - Let's give bees a bit of heaven.             Dr Krystyna Pohorecka - Neonicotinoids and rape honey - latest findings.             Prof. Jan Narkiewicz-Jodko - GMO - follow the rule of prudence.             Prof. Pawel Chorbinski - Why do bees disappear in autumn? - varroa destructor, nosema, viral diseases.             Dr Zbigniew Lipinski - What to feed bees with?             Andrzej Wyszynski - Specificity of beekeeping in Australia.             Dr Zbigniew Lipinski - Adjuvants in pesticides - a health threat for bees (scientific statement).

1 pm-1.30 pm Lunch break 1.30 pm  Prof. Ryszard Czarnecki - Propolis in treating venous system diseases.             Prof. Bogdan Kedzia, Elzbieta Holderna-Kedzia - New applications of honey in treating diabetes and gastric ulcers.             Dr Arkadiusz Kaplinski - Diabetes and metabolic syndrome - possible prevention and treatment with the use of honey and bee products.             Dr Arkadiusz Kaplinski, Justyna Jessa - Apitherapy in obesity prevention and treatment.             Dr Arkadiusz Kaplinski, Elzbieta Hajnos - Honey and bee products in a diet of pregnant women.

Conference venue: the Beekeeping Farm "Sadecki Bartnik" in Stroze. The participants will be able to purchase training materials from the present and previous conferences. District of Malopolska is the official partner of this initiative.
