Polish tradition cookbook

The publisher of the book is Marek Matusiak from "Arystoteles", while "Sadecki Bartnik" contributed to the publishing process.

"Poznaj Dobra Zywnosc" programme, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural development, could be found among the advocates of Polish cooking traditions. Not surprisingly, Polish countryside products guarantee the best quality of our national food.

Polish cuisine has been formed by a thousand-year-old history that was influenced by a number of cultural movements from abroad. It witnessed the times of prosperity and impoverishment, political greatness and military downfall. It survived countless wars, partitions and communism. That is why Polish food is so diverse and full of foreign flavours.

It is no mystery that everyone takes their own genetically programmed flavours and aromas from their homes. For many people this book will be a perfect guide how to return to them.

Obviously, from time to time we tend to follow the novelties offered by exotic cuisines or fast food chain restaurants. Nonetheless, after joining the European Union we have discovered that our national delicacies are quite capable of pleasing the most refined palates around the world. Hence, it is worth remembering that Polish cuisine, next to the language, defines our national identity.

And this is the message  of the cookbook "Tradycyjna Kuchnia Polska" (Traditional Polish Cuisine) that also contains a variety of recipes based on honey.

Everyone is most invited to use the imagination with a pinch of craziness offered by the book.
