Nozevit is a  phytopharmacologic product that helps bees to overcome nosema. Phytopharmacologic means that all the ingredients used to fight off the disease are purely natural, based on plant extracts with the special focus on herbs. Nosema, in short, is a parasitic disease of adult bees that is caused by a coccidum called Nosema apis. This coccidum, in order to survive unfriendly conditions, is capable of producing a spore to prolong its existence. The pathogen causing nosema accommodates itself in a digestive system of a bee and eventually results in death of the host. Warringly enough, the disease has affected the whole planet and brings about not only enormous losses in apiaries but also contributes, in an indirect way, to the economic damage, especially where it comes to the agriculture.

Unfortunately, nosema is usually spotted too late by beekeepers. Infected bees tend to die outside the beehive. As there are no visible symptoms the disease is virtually impossible to detect and that is also the reason why it is called "the silent killer".
