POLSKA WEDŁUG KRETA 

Jaroslaw Kret is not only one of the most popular Polish weather presenter but also the author of seven books of travel entitled "Kret na Pogodę" (2005), "Moja Ziemia Swieta" (2006), "Ziemia Swieta" (2007), "Madagaskar" (2008), "Moje Indie" (2009), "Planeta według Kreta" (2011) and "Egipt" (2011).

He has a degree in egyptology, oriental culture and culture studies (a scholarship at the University of Cairo 1987/1988).

He has been working in media since 1992, first as a journalist for a newspaper in Warsaw.

He has been a journalist, a reporter and a presenter of "Teleexpressu". For 4 years starting in 1995 Jaroslaw Kret presented his own tv programmes: "Klub Podroznikow", "Kino Klubu Podroznikow" at the Warsaw's Television Centre. Since 2002 he has been a regular weather presenter in TVP.

In January 2012, he won an award of "Telekamery" in the category of "Weather Presenter".

He is a member of Climate Broadcasters Network Europe (an organization of European weather presenters which he also co-founded), IABM - International Association of Broadcast Meteorology, The Explorers Club and the WWF Polska.
