Music bewitched into wood

The concert took place in "Sadecki Bartnik" as a part of the programme "Music bewitched into wood" that is organized by the Tourist Organization of Malopolska. The guests were received by the chairman of this organization Leszek Zegzda.

Di Galitzyaner Klezmorim music band consists of Mariola Spiewak (clarinet), Grzegorz Spiewak (arrangement and accordion) and Rafal Seweryniak (double-bass) and has received a number of awards including the prestigious award granted annually by the Council of Europe. Their work is inspired by the traditional Jewish music although they are not a typical klezmer group. The band tries to show the artistic rather than folk side of the music. Some compositions are of their authorship. They focus on the quality of sound, precision and the highest level of performance. They have been concerting in Poland and other European countries. They have recorded for the radio and television. Currently, they are preparing the release of their third record.

Their concert in "Sadecki Bartnik" was opened by a Moldavian Hora combined with a wedding sîrba. The following pieces emanated with melancholy and ardour. All gathered people listened to the music with great attention and a kind of oblivion. It could be easily seen that the concert was a feast of senses especially when accompanied by the sunset in Zareba Park.
