Bartna Chata with a certificate

MOT carries out the project called "Malopolska Trasa Smakoszy" (the Route of Malopolska Taste) with the aim of certifying the chosen inns to increase the quality of tourist services. For two months, anonymous teams of experts were testing the restaurants that offer their clients regional products and dishes.certyfikat_karczma_sm

Subjected to the assessment were the dishes, interior design, service quality and the knowledge about the region. On the basis of the inspectors' opinions the Committee, consisting of the MOT employees, has chosen the entities to be certified.

Natalia Adamska-Golinska writes on that subject in  "Dziennik Polski”:
"Very Good opinions acquired also Bartna Chata from Stroze. This restaurant is the integral part of the Sadecki Bartnik complex, founded by the Kasztelewicz family.
' First, the apiary was established, later came the Beekeeping Museum and consequently the restaurant and also the rest houses to receive our guests', says Anna Kasztelewicz, the hostess of Bartna Chata".

The restaurant is unique in regard to honey. There are no popular fizzy drinks. Instead, there are served alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks based, of course, on honey.
"Honey is added to a variety of dishes what makes the flavours even more pronounced", claims the hostess.
