New publications
It is our pleasure to present you the newest publications of the "Sadecki Bartnik" Publishing House.

"Pożytki pszczele, zapylanie i miododajność roślin" (Bee nectar, pollination and melliferous plants) by Mieczyslaw Lipinski is a book that for years has been considered by many to be the bible of beekeeping. It is a compilation of knowledge relating to the beekeeping botany, bee nectar and melliferous plants and its pollination. The book was written over thirty years ago and now after twenty years from its 3rd reedtion the "Sadecki Bartnik" Publishing House with the cooperation of PWRiL has issued it for the fourth time. This latest edition has been updated, complemented and modified in accordance with the present knowledge of Marek Pogorzelec. It has been also edited by dr Zbigniew Koltowski, who is an expert in the area of melliferous plants.
Especially worth mentioning is the enormously rich graphic illustration of the book set by the renowned graphic artist Zbigniew Kraszewski. The authors of the photographs are Mr. Pogorzelec and Mr. Koltowski.

More detailed information about the problem of parasitical disease called Varroe destructor, which has been transmitted by the eastern bee to the western bee, and about a highly effective ecological preparation for its elimination HiveClean can be found in a brochure "Hive Clean to fight off the Varroe destructor" published by "Sadecki Bartnik". The author of the essay is dr Grzegorz Dobre - the President of Federation of Romanian Beekeepers.
The brochure is a digest concerning  the disease and the methods of elimination that should be familiar to every beekeeper. It can also be downloaded as a pdf file here (Polish version).

"Masowe ginięcie pszczół - problem światowego pszczelarstwa" (CCD - a worldwide problem of beekeeping) is a compilation of reports presented at the beekeeping conference that took place on 3rd of July 2010 during the Besiada at Bartnik.
