The President's Economic Awards

On 20th of 2005, during the ceremonial concert commemorating the 'Polish Day' on the Poznan International Fair, the President of the Republic of Poland granted for the 8th time the Economic Awards for the important contribution to the development of national economy.

The Beekeeping Farm 'Sadecki Bartnik' of A&J Kasztelewicz was among the awarded.

According to the tradition, the ceremony took place in Poznan during the international fair ' Innovation -Technology – Machines ITM Poland'. The President, accompanied by the members of the chapter, first gave away the certificates of merit and later he proceeded with the symbolic statuettes.

“(...) The Beekeeping Farm 'Sąsecki Bartnik' from Stróże in Malopolska district is awarded with the title of the best agricultural farm. The owners' – Anna and Janusz Kasztelewicz – passion for bees made it possible for the initially small family apiary to become a highly prosperous beekeeping farm. Today, it offers us excellent honey of unique taste and many others sought after bee products. 'Sadecki Bartnik' is a reliable and worth recommending brand that is the symbol and continuator of the most valuable Polish beekeeping traditions. The company also deserves respect for other activity of its owners – that is the publishing house management and production of educational films. They also established the Beekeeping Museum that in a very short time became the tourist attraction of the whole region. This is what we call versatility and creativity(...)”,  said the President of Poland Aleksander Kwasniewski.
