On 25th of March 1999, the President of Poland Aleksander Kwasniewski met with the winners of 'Agroleague' and 'Agrobusinessman of the Year' competitions in the President's Palace.

Janusz Kasztelewicz who is the owner of the Beekeeping Farm 'Sadecki Bartnik' was awarded with the Golden Cross of Merit in appreciation for his outstanding work for the development of agricultural and food economy.
At the meeting, the president awarded the twelve winners with the highest national distinction, the Golden Cross of Merit. For his outstanding work for the development of agricultural and food economy, Janusz Kasztelewicz – the owner of the Beekeeping Farm 'Sadecki Bartnik' - was one of the winners.
After presenting the awards, the president addressed the assembled:
' Today, I have the honour of receiving, here in the President' Palace, the eight winners of the 'Agroleague' and 'Agrobusinessmen of the Year' competition. (...) Among the assembled, I can see not only managers of of well-known and developed companies but also smaller business entities. You are chosen from the a number of candidates what is the proof of appreciation for the achievements of the last year. You have demonstrated that you are capable of multiplying your assets and supporting the development of the local communities. I am full of admiration for your accomplishments. Such contributions like yours are vital for the modernization and development of Polish country and national economy.(...) Among the most crucial objectives concerning Polish economy are the modernization and development of Polish agriculture, increasing the competitiveness, introduction of new technologies in agricultural production and processing industry and scientific advancement. Others, like creating new jobs in the country even beyond the sector of agriculture and diminishing the civilizational gap between the city and the country are also of tremendous importance. We are all responsible for what is happening in Polish countryside and Polish agriculture. As I mentioned many times before, I would like the issues relating to the country and agriculture become the priority for the united political, union and social front. (...) For me, any activities for the economic development of our country and building the world prestige of the national economy, are the most pressing matters of my presidency. That is why I will advocate all the initiatives that promote Polish economy, Polish agriculture and food economy. You can always on my assistance and support.'
