The Congress lasted from 24th till 29th of August 2003. (...) Slovenians claim that their country is a place where God managed to fit everything. And it seems to be true. Slovenia is a country with beautiful mountain peaks, stunning lowlands where agriculture flourishes and with a marvelous sea coast.
Our crew consisted of almost 50 people and it included representatives of whole Polish beekeeping. There were companies' owners, leaders of beekeeping organizations, representatives of scientific world and beekeeping enthusiasts. In ApiExpo, the exhibition of the Congress, took part around 100 companies from all over the world. Among them were people from China, Korea, Argentina, the USA, Australia and especially from European countries. Poland was represented by three beekeeping companies: ApiEko from Przemysl with a wide range of honey products, the Beekeeping Farm "Sadecki Bartnik" from Stroze with its honey and honey mead and by family firm of Mr. and Mrs. Adamek from Gilowice who producing beekeeper's clothing. The exhibition was an exceptional opportunity to admire all kinds of beekeeping technologies that have been developed all around the world. |
